There are many ways in which a company can support City Hospice, such as Dress-Down days or Volunteering time to help with events, in our shops or at the hospice. Some organise their own events and some take part in our events, such as taking a table at our Gala dinner or putting a team in one of our golf days. Others sponsor one of our big events and some encourage their staff to 'Give-as-you-Earn.

Brogue Trader owner, Chris Macnamara is an ambassador of George Thomas Hospice Care. It is a family business, run by Chris, his wife Jo and children Kieran, Stacey and Dan and they now have seven shops across the UK. Chris runs Cardiff's best Beaujolais day luncheon on behalf of the charity, holds successful Arcade events, has travelled to Croatia on a scooter, held curry and quiz nights and he and Jo are cyclling from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas for us in October 2017.The Brogue Trader are sponsors of The WRU and FAW and have gained us access to many sporting stars

Wessex Nissan garage on Hadfield Rd, Cardiff have great fun supporting George Thomas Hospice Care. They have sponsored The Cardiff Raft Race in 2016 and 2017 and have also sponsored our Christmas at the Movies event in St David's Hall. They have held a number of events for GTHC at their showrooms, including performances by Only Men Aloud and Q&A's with top rugby stars Rhys Webb, Sam Davies, Alex Cuthbert, Josh Navidi and many more Their 'Great Wessex Bake-Offs' have proved very popular and have even been judged by top Michelin starred James Sommerin. They have held a number of golf days for us and many of their staff have taken part in our events, such as the 5K Fun Run

James Pidgeon & Son have supported George Thomas Hospice Care for many years, sponsoring some of our big events, such as our Walk for Hope and last year sponsored out 10K410K walk at the Principality Stadium. They always put a team in our golf days and supply us with great prizes too, such as two tickets for a Six Nations match. They have also given us lots of tickets for Glamorgan cricket which are always appreciated by our patients and their families.

The Memoria Group have given monthly company donations for many years totalling many thousands of pounds. They have also sponsored our Walk for Hope event and staff have taken part too. They own the beautiful Cardiff and Glamorgan Memorial Park and Crematorium.

Western Power Distribution have supported us for many years also, sponsoring some of our biggest events, taking tables at our Gala dinners and providing us with a free box with food and drink at Chepstow races for our patients. They have also helped us to highlight their Priority Service Register to our patients which gives an extra quick service to the sick and the elderly in the case of a power cut.

The CPS Group are specialist recruiters to the technology industry. The people who work at CPS Group are easy-going, passionate and friendly. They are also great supporters of our charity sponsoring our Art Auction for the last two years and taking part in our annual raft race too.

Jeff white Motors is one of the largest independent sellers of quality pre-owned cars in the UK. Over the years, Jeff has bought tables at our Gala dinner, teams in our golf days and made financial donations to the charity. Jeff is extremely fit and in October is taking part in our Grand canyon to Las Vegas Charity Cycle ride.

The Thomas Carroll Group are the insurers of George Thomas Hospice Care. As well as giving excellent advice and service they have had GTHC as the company's Charity of the Year, taken tables at our Gala dinner, teams in our golf days and sponsored a few of our events with staff taking part too.

George Thomas Hospice Care is the Charity of the Year for Sainsbury's, Colchester Avenue. They will be doing lots of things for us over the coming year, so please try and support them in return.

Roy Allkin and partner, Sarah John also own Boss Brewing and the Copper Bar, Swansea. They plan on hosting regular fundraising evenings with sporting celebrities and also donating a percentage of profits from sales of their unique craft beers at these events.

There is a saying on golf, 'That business is done on the course'. That is the thinking behind Boardroom Golf, a club for business owners and directors who enjoy golf, but also want to create business leads whilst competing in tournaments on some of the country's best courses.

This unique networking company has adopted George Thomas Hospice Care as its Charity of the Year.

Asset International is the largest producer of Weholite large diameter pipes.

The company is a new supporter of George Thomas Hospice Care, but has already entered two teams in our annual raft race, housed donation stations at the place of work and staff will be doing a marathon bike ride later this summer.

Sapiens is a leading global provider of software solutions for the insurance industry. They have decided to support GTHC this year and have provided volunteers to paint the new garden fence at the hospice, house donation stations at their offices and staff will be taking part in various events throughout the next 12 months.

YC Sports support us by donating every 5p from bag sales. With two very busy shops in Cardiff this amounts to many hundreds of pounds. YC lim and his family also support our golf days, gala dinners and are the suppliers of printed clothing to the charity.

The Sony UK Technology Centre in Pencoed have supported GTHC for many years, regularly putting teams in our golf days, taking tables at our Gala Dinner and always providing us with prizes for our raffles. They also house clothing donation stations at their offices to collect for our shops.

Panasonic Manufacturing UK based in Pentwyn are new supporters of George Thomas Hospice Care and are already planning a staff Bake-Off, teams in our raft race, skydiving and will house clothing donation stations.
