Volunteering is crucial to our cause and we owe a great debt of gratitude to each and every one of our Volunteers.
Giving a few hours of your time each week can make a huge difference to the lives of people suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Not all our volunteers are able to commit on a weekly basis but still help out when they are able. It could be once a month or a few times a year. The choice is yours.
Why not take a look at the different VOLUNTEERING ROLES and decide which one is most suitable for you. You can apply to volunteer by completing the form which you will find under the APPLICATION FORM section.
Did you know?...
There are currently 379 volunteers that provide George Thomas Hospice Care with a little bit of their free time each year.
178 volunteers currently work in OUR SHOPS but we still require more help. We require volunters to assist with bag sorting, store-front presentation and deliveries.
Volunteers conribute a MASSIVE 32,000 working hours per year to George Thomas Hospice Care and consequently save the hospice approximately £161,000 per year.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of volunteering, please contact the hospice on 029 2052 4150 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
