Occupational therapists

Our Occupational Therapists (OT) assess patient needs with regard to daily activities of living at home which could include household tasks and personal care. After the assessment the OT may give advice, recommend alterations to the home and if required arrange equipment.

The assessment usually takes place in the patients’ home. During the assessment the OT may ask you to demonstrate particular activities you are finding difficult and ask you to show them the rooms in your home that you regularly use.
