
Paris to Geneva September 2010

Linking the two classic cities of Paris and Geneva, with a fabulous Tour de France climb, makes this a challenge you won’t forget in a hurry all whilst raising thousands for your chosen charity.
Cycling from the chic city of Paris through quiet rural medieval towns and famous vineyard regions we tackle the Col de la Faucille, our gateway into Switzerland and a tough climax to what will be a fantastic and rewarding challenge.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Eurostar to Paris, free afternoon to explore the city
Day 2: Depart Paris over rolling hills to medieval Burgundy town of Sens
Day 3: Small quiet country lanes to the hill-top town of Semur-en_auxois
Day 4: Skirting Dijon a mainly flat route to the Jura region and the spa town of Lons-le-Saunier
Day 5: Long climbs to cross the Jura mountains into Switzerland. Finish at Col de la Faucille (1232m). This climb has featured in the Tour de France so a fitting end to our challenge and a great achievement!
Day 6: Free time in Geneva; return to UK by train.
All you need to do to experience this fantastic challenge is raise £1700 (TBC) for our charity and in return you can join us on the trip of a lifetime!
