Circus Starr, ‘The Circus with a Purpose’ announces their ‘Autumn Tour 2012’ which will arrive in Cardiff in support of ‘George Thomas Hospice Care’.
Circus Starr in 2012 is extremely proud to celebrate their Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years in operation.

Circus Starr Director Neville Wilson said “We are absolutely delighted to be celebrating our 25th year in operation, it is a fantastic time to reflect on all the life changing work we have done. I am very excited in this special year to bring such a varied and world class line up of entertainment guaranteed to bring laughter and smiles to our audiences. We are convinced this year will be a resounding success and we want to say a big thank you to everyone who makes our work possible.”

For every performance the dedicated Circus Starr team generate income via sponsorships and donations from local businesses in the area. This enables us to run our unique Donated Ticket Scheme, where tickets are donated to children’s charities and community groups enabling underprivileged children and children with disabilities to enjoy a memorable day at the circus.

With this kind support from local businesses, in 2011 Circus Starr donated £1,345,000 worth of tickets to UK communities.

Get ready for surprises aplenty with our amazing artistes who have travelled the globe entertaining with their world class acts.

Featuring the ‘Red Dragon Chinese Acrobats’ with their incomparable array of acts including, the leaping, rolling somersaulting repertoire of their Hoop Divers to the lavish tradition of the Lion Dance, they also combine rhythm, gymnastics and dance to showcase a ‘quick as lightening’ take on skipping. Their talents continue when they dazzle at Plate Spinning, Hat Juggling and showing strength and agility in their revolutionary Rein Wheel. This is the first appearance of the Red Dragon Chinese Acrobats in the UK after extensive performances across the globe.

Circus Starr, ‘Spring Tour 2012’ will be entertaining Cardiff for one day only on Sunday 17th June 2012 at Coopers Field Bute Park, North Road, Cardiff, CF10 3DX , with two shows at 2.00pm & 5.00pm.
