ZUMBATOMIC CHARITY CHALLENGE

ZUMBATOMIC SCHOOLCHILDREN DANCE FOR LOCAL HOSPICE!
AROUND 200 children from a city primary school will become the first to take part in GTHC’s new
Zumbatomic Charity Challenge.
Pupils from
St Philip Evans RC Primary School (Years 2-6) have taken up the sponsored challenge to help raise money during Lent, for GTHC - the major provider of specialist palliative care in Cardiff.
GTHC’s Community Fundraising Officer Sarah Harris said: “Our sponsored Zumbatomic Charity Challenge is fun and child-friendly and based on the popular aerobic dance craze Zumba. It merges salsa, hip hop and other dance techniques and is suitable for children aged six to 12.
“Now it’s not only adults who can Zumba – children can now enjoy it too, by taking part in our challenge with their school, doing a half hour Zumbatomic dance workout, in return for fundraising for George Thomas Hospice Care.
