George Thomas Hospice Care provides specialist home based nursing and practical advice, emotional and spiritual support, medical equipment, therapies, treatments and day care activities and bereavement counselling.

At the heart of our specialist care service is our multi-disciplinary team of consultants, palliative care nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and counsellors whose joint efforts combine to provide the focused, supportive and effective help we provide in our community.

Who do we help
We support over 500 patients and their families each year with our multi disciplinary team of specialist nurses, occupational therapists and social workers with all help provided totally free of charge.
Celebrity Coffee Morning 2012
Master of the turn of phrase and doyen of Welsh broadcasters, Roy Noble, will help extend the celebration of St David’s Day by being the special guest at our Celebrity Coffee Morning at Cardiff’s Mansion House.
This event is always popular so be sure of being there by booking your ticket, which are strictly limited, early.

Zumba Fundraiser
Make your New Year’s resolution to get fit while helping your local hospice by taking part in GTHC’s Zumba Fundraiser. Zumba South Wales, in partnership with George Thomas Hospice Care, will be holding this fun and funky three hour Zumba Fundraiser at the CMC Social Club, Heath, Cardiff. Put that New Year’s resolution of taking more exercise really into practice by joining our great 5K Charity Run through the beautiful grounds of Bute Park. Runners of all ability will be taking part.
